Linda was my neighbour for 14 years. From the beginning she was always kind and helpful. I did not realise the depth of her concern until my husband fell critically ill. Her love and attention to me during that time was deeply appreciated. Her offers of help which were far beyond what one would expect from a neighbour were overwhelming. It is so sad to lose such a friend to that terrible disease. I shall always remember her as a lady completely devoted to her home and family but one who still had time fo me. Christine Johnson

I am so glad I met you. I could always share my problems with you Linda and also our joys and you would go out of your way to help anyone if you could. You would never suffer fools gladly and always spoke your mind, which I loved and respected. I rang Margaret, Jean, Alison and Jill in Australia and we talked fondly of our memories of the good times we spent with you. You will never be forgotten. Rest in peace Sally
